Making data driven decisions is essential to the success of J2S. What good is it to go to Madagascar, or anywhere for that matter, show up and want to paint someone’s kitchen when what they really need is food to eat. So to maximize the efforts of J2S we have collected data from local community leaders and consultants on the needs of the area that we plan to serve.
The data provided includes a feedback from community leaders and a situational analysis conducted by external consultants in two areas.
* The northern zone called DIANA includes Antsiranana, Joffreville, Anivorano, Ambilobe, SIRAMA
* The SAVA zone targeted Vohémar, Ampanefena, Sambava, Andapa, Antalaha, Ambohitralanana.
The data identifies educational needs in the area, reviews the current training/educational capabilities, and the feasibility of expanding current capabilities in the region.
We realize the importance in teaming with community leaders in the areas we will be serving. The first hand knowledge of needs from those in the community will guide the services that J2S will be providing. This planning will enable J2S to maximize its efforts to serve and provide for those in the communities being serviced.
